Summary
Club Z is looking for a talented Social Media Manager with graphics experience to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and content, managing posts, and growing and responding to followers. You will manage Club Z’s image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals and in line with the mission and vision of the organization. You’ll turn everyday engagers into real fans of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Be a steward of our brand voice, tone and visual representation across channels, ensuring content is cohesive and on-brand.
- Proactive and strategically reactive to news and Club Z events, con tent and distribution of information at all times.
- Design and implement short- and long-term social media strategy in cooperation with the team. Create and manage a social media content calendar.
- Oversee and run all Club Z social media accounts’ design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout).
- Organically and strategically grow Club Z’s following across all social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.
- Generate, organize, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos and news). Alert relevant team members to specific content/queries.
- Build and moderate social media communities by responding to comments and keeping members engaged. Respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Collaborate with organizations and influencers to improve brand awareness.
- Suggest and implement new features across social media to develop brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions.
- Participate and lead weekly meetings discussing social media strategy and approaches.
- Work with all functions and represent their needs on social media.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) of social media marketing campaigns. Report on content performance and present social insights.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
- Monitor and analyze trends and competitor performance.
Key Qualifications
- BA in English, Journalism or Communications is preferred or related field experience
- 2-4+ years proven work experience as a Social Media Manager
- Deep understanding of social media platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of creativity
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud such as Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- Solid knowledge of keyword research and Google Analytics
- Ability to study and interpret marketing analytics
- Ideally have worked in a space targeting teen communities and their parents
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Experience with marketing tools such as Mailchimp
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Graphic design skills are a plus
- Familiarity with web design is a plus

This is an Exempt, full-time role requiring on-site/in-person presence as well as occasional travel locally, regionally and nationally. Applicants must be authorized to work and be based in the US. This role requires travel to our office location. Also open to part-time Educators

Colonel Richard Kemp was a British infantry commander who spent most of his life combating terrorism and insurgency in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Balkans and Northern Ireland, where he was wounded in a terrorist attack. His name appeared on an Al Qaida kill list in 2013.
Dalia Ziada is an Egyptian award-winning writer, peace activist, and political analyst specializing in governance, geopolitics, and defense policy in the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean. She has been globally recognized for her leading role as a civil rights activist in the Arab Spring revolutions of 2010-2011 and for her uncommon stance as an Arab Muslim intellectual in support of Israel’s war against Hamas in 2023.
