Summary
The Regional Programs Director (RPD) is the person who implements Club Z vision and achieves strategic goals for his/her region.
The RPD reports to the Regional Director (RD) or National Director for Programming and Engagement, and is responsible for growing Club Z’s presence in his/her assigned community. The RPD should be creative, analytical and a self-starter who combines organizational acumen and professionalism with a passion for, and knowledge of, Club Z’s mission. The RPD is expected to be highly collaborative to meet the Club Z work culture.
Essential Functions
- Implement strategic goals and vision of Club Z mission.
- Engage with and inspire Jewish teens to become informed, lifelong leaders.
- Responsible for recruitment and retention of new members.
- Responsible for all regional programming with teens, parents and community.
- Foster collaborative relationships with the larger community to partner and promote the mission and mandate of Club Z.
- Oversee the day to day operations of the region.
- Manage or assist the RD to manage regional budgets and facilities.
- Communicate effectively utilizing communication tools, and meet in-person with Club Z members, partners and community members.
- Oversee the collection of and help with the analysis of the region’s engagement data.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of professional experience.
- A commitment to Zionism and the Jewish people.
- A charismatic personality that engages people with honesty and humility, leading participants to respond to your requests simply because you asked.
- Experience of working with teens.
- Proven success in project management, including the ability to provide vision, articulate expectations, and produce and evaluate outcomes for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills
- Extensive experience with programming and relationship building.
- Familiarity with implementing a strategic plan, including reporting and tracking data
- Insight into market trends and competition and able to translate such insight into input for the region’s strategic goals.
- Highly collaborative – able to work in a team environment as well as on his/her own with minimal supervision when needed. Comfortable working virtually as well as at an office, meeting in person for Club Z institute sessions and other events.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal skills, including strong presentation and public speaking skills, to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Work occasional evenings and weekends, be generally available and reactive to current events requiring action and proactive planning.
- Ability to travel 2-5 times/year to attend conferences, seminars etc.
- Strong technology competence, and able to quickly learn new tools
- Strong PC skills, Google Workspace, MS Office and related tools experience is highly desired. Experience with communication, project management and CRM tools is a big plus

This is an Exempt, full-time role requiring on-site/in-person presence as well as occasional travel locally, regionally and nationally. Applicants must be authorized to work and be based in the US. This role requires travel to our office location. Also open to part-time Educators

Shahar Azani is a veteran Israeli diplomat, passionate advocate for Israel and a frequent contributor to various media outlets focusing on Israel, Jewish issues and the Middle East.
Shabbos Kestenbaum is a student activist and the lead plaintiff against Harvard University, alleging pervasive and systemic antisemitism. He is a regular contributor on national media, has testified in front of the United States Congress multiple times, and lectures internationally on Jewish communal issues.
