New York Lead Educator & National Activism Officer

Dan is an accomplished Jewish and Israel educator with more than 15 years of experience instructing students on topics such as Zionism, activism, the BDS movement, the apartheid accusation and more. As the grandchild of Holocaust survivors, Dan also founded an organization called 3GNY (Third Generation New York) to train descendants of survivors to provide Holocaust education to students in public and private schools. He has also worked for the Museum of Jewish Heritage and Artists 4 Israel. Dan is passionate about developing innovative pro-Israel education that changes the Jewish world.

We are looking for teen leaders who are ready to leave their mark on Jewish history.

Our Brooklyn chapter offers two distinct tracks: Basic Training and Sayeret.

Basic Training:

  • Open to teens as young as 8th grade
  • Designed for students who want to learn more about Israel and Zionism
  • 10 interactive seminars
  • No prerequisite to join!

Basic Training Curriculum

Sayeret:

  • Open to teens in 9th through 12th grade.
  • Designed for students who are passionate about becoming dedicated Jewish leaders in their communities and on future college campuses
  • 14 interactive seminars

Brooklyn – Basic Training [Sundays, 12:30pm-2:30pm]

* – Teens are expected to arrive at 9am, for breakfast and socializing.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

  • Members must be Jewish and in grades 8th through 12th.
