Summary
The Regional Director (RD) implements Club Z’s vision and achieves strategic goals including growing Club Z’s presence in the assigned region.
The RD should be creative, analytical and a self-starter who combines organizational acumen and professionalism for, and knowledge of, Club Z’s mission. The RD is expected to be highly collaborative to meet the Club Z work culture.
Essential Functions
- Implement and understand the strategic goals and vision of Club Z mission
- Engage with and inspire Jewish teens to become informed, lifelong leaders
- Responsible for recruitment strategy/funnel and retention of new members
- Create regional programming with teens, partnerships and community stakeholders
- Foster collaborative relationships with community with key stakeholders to promote Club Z
- Collaborate with the Development team to create and maintain donor relationships
- Identify prospective partnerships within the region
- Oversee day to day operations
- Manage and oversee regional budget and Club Z facilities (e.g. Clubhouse) with guidance from NDPE.
- Oversee regional engagement data collection and assist with analysis
Requirements & Skills
- 3 to 5+ years of professional experience.
- A commitment to Zionism and the Jewish people
- A charismatic personality that engages teens, parents and other stakeholders
- Experience and understanding working with teens and building interpersonal relationships.
- Highly skilled in project management
- Strong organizational skills
- Highly collaborative – able to work in a team environment
- Comfortable in a hybrid working environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work occasional evenings and several weekends (Sundays)
- Ability to travel nationally 2-5 times a year
- Strong technology competence (Monday.com, slack, G Suite, Google Calendar, cloud based software)
- Excellent Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs

About the Organization
Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, Club Z connects teens to Israel, Jewish history, and each other. With several national chapters and grounded in dynamic and unique educational curricula, Club Z engages students around their Jewish identity, develops their leadership skills, and creates a powerful network of knowledgeable, articulate, and effective activists.
This is an Exempt, full-time role requiring on-site/in-person presence as well as travel locally, regionally and nationally.
