Headquartered in the Bay Area with additional presence in Los Angeles, New York and North Carolina, Club Z is a small and steadily growing non-profit that connects teens to Israel, Jewish history, and each other. Grounded in dynamic educational curricula, Club Z engages students around their Jewish identity, develops their leadership skills, and creates a powerful network of proactive, passionate, and effective advocates.
This is a full time on-site role (non-remote) in the Bay Area, San Francisco.

Opportunity Summary
Regional Coordinator will pro-actively assist with Club Z efforts to build and sustain its relationships with families, teens and the local community. In addition, the consultant will assist in managing communication and relationship-building; as well as manage the communication of information and sentiments from Club Z to the community.

- Communication
- Assist the Regional Director/Executive Director with notifications and reminders about events and social gatherings as well as institute updates.
- Assist the Regional Director with communication with families and teens in a timely and planned manner as is custom at Club Z.
- Assist the Regional Director with full transition and mirror regional communication while maintaining Club Z voice.
- Meetings and Events:
- Helps with program logistics
- Designs invitations and flyers for events
- Assists team members in preparation of materials for all meetings and events
- Attends and staff various local events.
- Community
- Assist with Club Z Institute sessions as needed
- Plays a role in the planning and execution of family-focused events, such as holiday parties and movie nights.
- Support the execution of new initiatives
- Propose and support new ideas for community engagement
- Support the Club Z efforts to inform and recruit new families by serving as Club Z representative at community events. Create student recruitment materials
- Support the facilitation of Community Meetings including set-up and increasing family participation.
- Assist in developing Club Z’s community partnerships
- Operations
- Participate in all relevant Club Z team meetings
- Assist with procuring any materials needed for events, communication or related
- Assist with space confirmation for Club Z events
- Any other duties that will help promote Club Z and make the institute sessions a success

Requirements and Skills
- Passionate Zionist
- Detail orientated, highly organized, resourceful, and communicative
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks in a constantly changing environment, and capability to follow through on tasks under deadline pressure
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude, a good head for problem solving.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Skilled in verbal and written communications with internal and external partners
- Results-oriented
- S/he must be willing to work the occasional event that could occur during evenings and weekends such as the annual conference
Education and Experience Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as G-Suite including Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides
- Ability to learn and become adept in other relevant software/cloud-based programs and databases as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree required

This role is being offered on a try-buy (contract) basis (90-120 days) with an opportunity to convert to a full time position at which time company benefits such as medical, 401K and others will also be provided.
